Hey Everyone!
So MoC has now passed, and I have been fortunate enough to receive a request for assisting in preparation of Jason's Run. I can not take credit for organizing the entire thing, as I am just one piece to the puzzle. I am helping set up the run, but all of the main ideas and decisions are coming from one of Jason's relatives (I am giving credit where credit is due, however I am going to try to refrain from disclosing who the person is, unless I get permission to do so).
Right now, we have a specific date in mind, and a possible venue, and I am calling on help from all of those who have the powers to assist. Here is what I need:
-Anyone who is an editor or manager of a website, I need an announcement on the website with an intended date and whatnot. I will later need either a banner of a flier with a link posted on the website.
-I also need anyone who is a columnist, writer, or editor of a newspaper, if they wouldn't mind putting in an announcement for the run.
-The other thing I need, which I would be surprised if I found someone for this, but anyone who owns some sort of printing press company, or store, or any type of business that can print out fliers and spread them out, to please help out if you do not mind. I am going to look into having your expenses tax-deductable, but I'm not yet sure what goes into that, or what qualifications there needs to be (since I really don't do the whole "tax" thing)...
I ask that anyone who is in the position to help and is willing to rise up to the call, please PM me as soon as possible.
