That's 3 pm TOMORROW (Friday the 17th)

Nonetheless, everyone should be watching. Just like everyone should be showing up on Sunday morning to run at Holmdel Park.

Let me see...long run, hills, bennett, state course, water/juice/bananas/gatorade, bennett, camaraderie, bennett, competition, bennett.

Last Sunday was a great time. I hope more kids latch onto this.

eassssssy there hotshot. I'm not facing a fine or a suspension am I?

Kind of hard to wake up at six on Sunday when you go to bed at 6:15:rolleyes:

Sometimes the best laid plans wind up in the bottom of a bottle.

Along with being an old and slow guy comes slower recovery time from a night of Yings and Wings etc.

I HOPE to make the run on July 26 (if there is one). I said ``I HOPE'' to make it. I'll be there unless......................

YOU were up until 6:15 AM partying? Oh my, that'll put a hurin on anyone these days.

New neighbor moved in and had a big house warming party with live entertainment (yes, that kind). Kids slept at granny's and the rest of the night I am not permitted to speak about. If you see the movie Hangover that will give you a clue about some of things that went on that night.

You can take a man out of college but you can't take college out of a man!

I see a dyestatmetro article coming out of these runs! Runners of all ages and abilities gathering to tame The 'Del, Bennett waxing poetic about anything and EVERYthing, Lambert interviewing before, during and after, bagels and bananas filling tired bellies but most of all a group of runners from ages 14 to much older running to improve XC in Jersey...Lambert it has possibilities. Times are changing, it is time people take notice and hop on board.

I am all for new traditions emerging..particularly among distance runners, but PLEASE..lose the "'Del" reference...call it what it is ...right now, it sounds too much like a nursery rhyme....also, I never see Grote referring to their long runs back in the day as starting from "'Nards" or the "Bern"

He should. "Nards" works well. Tough, like the 'Nards guys.

Nah, it sounds a little phony, like someone tried too hard to make up a cool nickname.:D

Thanks again to everyone that came out today. We had more boys, more girls, more college runners, more post collegiate runners, and more coaches than last week. Very cool. Looking forward to next week already. Again, we'll post info about next weeks run in a few days with some changes for those running over 90 minutes. We had runs from 30 minutes to 2 hours today and paces all over. Good running for all fitness levels and ages.
Cheers,
CB

My team was thinking of going to one of these. What's the general range of paces?

Well, both Mazzaccaro and Bennett are running so that should give you a decent idea of the range.
