No - the Daily Herald goes out to Cary and Algonquin. They probably just didn't get the results from the meets. Jager should be on the 3200 list

Runner52,
There are many editions that go out to different areas....the northwest suburban area has their own honor roll in that edition, dupage county has their own etc.
Both Weber and Jager made the lists I have been keeping. I posted it in the outdoor leaderboards thread.
I think the Daily Herald only decided to put the DuPage list on-line this week.

CRYSTAL LAKE – Jacobs' Sam Shepherd made an emphatic point Friday night.
No area runner is faster at 400 meters.
Shepherd proved it in the 400 dash, holding off McHenry's Noel Figueroa. He was equally impressive anchoring the Golden Eagles' 4x400 relay, the final race of the McHenry County Boys Track and Field Meet, as he made up a 15-meter deficit to win.
"I have so much trust in my 4x400 [teammates] to put me in a position [for us to win]," Shepherd said. "They trust me to close the deal."
Shepherd's finish capped the meet for Jacobs, which scored 123 points at Crystal Lake Central's Owen Metcalf Field for its fourth consecutive county boys title. Crystal Lake Central was second with 92 points, and McHenry, led by Figueroa's two meet records, was third with 75.
"Usually, you don't win with one good leg," Jacobs coach Jason Borhart said. "You have a guy with the mentality to run the 400 and take great pride in that race. He's running very strong for us."
Shepherd was about 15 meters behind Crystal Lake South's Ryan Lowmiller on the anchor leg. The defending county 400 champion caught Lowmiller on the second turn, and Jacobs won the race by 1 second.
Shepherd was in on three victories Friday. Pat Brennan, John Arient, Joel Mackintosh and Shepherd won the 4x100, then Mike Connolly, Aaron Russo, Brian Kephart and Shepherd won the 4x400.
"It was an all-around team effort," Borhart said. "Some of the guys might not be happy with their places, but we double scored in every event except the 800."
Figueroa, Marengo's Dan Miller and Crystal Lake Central's Ryan Fuhs were two-time individual champions. Figueroa won the 100 and 200 in record times, Miller won the 110 high hurdles and 300 intermediate hurdles, and Fuhs won the 800 and 1,600.
Miller's 300 hurdles time was another meet record. Central's Matt Prado was the meet's other double individual champion, winning the high jump and triple jump in Thursday's competition.
Figueroa, who medaled in the Class AA 100 and 200 at last year's state meet, won the 100 in 10.5 seconds and the 200 in 21.9, both meet records.
"I'm pretty surprised to get the records in this [cold, wet] weather," Figueroa said. "The wind was picking up a little bit."
Figueroa felt his right hamstring tighten in the 400 and did not feel his strongest in the 200, even though he broke the record shared by Central's Chris Cochran and Woodstock's Zach Digney.
"During the 400 it started," Figueroa said. "I don't want to make excuses, Sam Shepherd's an awesome 400 runner. Give him credit for that. In the 200, it bugged me a lot. That's why I just strided it out at the end."
Figueroa was the only runner to beat Shepherd to a finish line all night.
"The 400 is so natural for me, but Noel's a God-given sprinter," Shepherd said. "He's fun to watch."
Miller wiped out the 2-year-old record of Cary-Grove's Brad Thornton in the 300 hurdles. Miller's 39.0 was six-tenths of a second faster than Thornton, who went on to become Class AA state champion.
"I was going over too high; I was just worried about winning, and I wanted to get that record," Miller said. "I was sprinting hard. I missed the 110s record by a couple tenths, so I wanted the 300s."

Athlete of the Week
Noel Figueroa, McHenry, Sr.
Figueroa won the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the McHenry County Boys Track and Field Meet in record times Friday night.
Figueroa broke the record held by Crystal Lake Central's Chris Cochran, Cary-Grove's Rashad McDade and Woodstock's Zach Digney (10.7) with a 10.5 in the 100.
Figueroa came back and ran a 21.9 in the 200, beating the record shared by Cochran and Digney in that race.
Girls Track and Field
Athlete of the Week
Anne Bucalo
Cary-Grove, Junior
Bucalo scored 20 points for the Trojans by winning the shot put and discus at the McHenry County Track and Field Meet on Thursday at Crystal Lake Central's Owen Metcalf Field.
Bucalo, a junior, threw 37-6 to win the shot put and threw 120-5 to win the discus. Both her winning throws met the Class AA state-qualifying standards.
News & Notes
Hillstriders' winners
The Hillstriders Running Club announced its annual distance running scholarship winners at the McHenry County Meet on Friday.
The scholarships are awarded to college-bound senior distance runners who apply and write essays about how running changed their lives.
The female winner is Cary-Grove's Megan Hofstetter, who will receive $2,000. The runner-up is C-G's Stephanie Erhard, who will receive $500.
The male scholarship was a tie between Crystal Lake Central's Ryan Fuhs and Prairie Ridge's Mike Lawson, who each will receive $1,250.
The Hillstriders' March Madness Half Marathon and auction-based entries help fund the scholarships, which were raised from $1,000 to $2,000 for winners, and from $100 to $500 for runners-up this year.

You completely missed the girls side of the meet. Huntley freshman Coryn Marzejon dominated three individual events, winning the 100m in 12.4 (tying a meet record), 200m in 25.8, and 400m in 58.0 (breaking the old record by more than a second). She also anchored a winning relay team.

I will comment. Weber had a bad race. He looked drained, probably from the 3200, when Fuhs and Jager passed him. Doesnt mean much, though. He's still run 4:25 and he's only a soph. That in itself is impressive. I think we'll see better from all four of the major FVC distance runners (Jager, Hatters, Fuhs, Weber) come conference. Yesterday was pretty disappointing.

Yeah I've got some comments for ya.....
Web didn't have his best race and got beat fair and square. He went out for the win exchanging the lead with Fuhs for the first two laps in the strong wind and rain. It was his first loss of this track season in a race over 800 meters long. He came in with the plan to win and although that doesnt happen, he still has the fastest mile in the county, conference and CG history. He has also run a 2 flat for the 800 at stevenson, and last night he set his second school record with a 9:44 in the 2mile. Im still very proud of him. Ryan Fuhs is a great kid, and If it wasnt Weber, I'm glad it was Fuhs. Noel Figgeroa and Sam Sheppard put on a show last night in the sprinting events, each one dominating the other in there respected field(Noel in the 100 and Sam in the 400. Damian Smith had ran a great 800, outkicking 4 or 5 guys in the last 300 to finish second behind the great Ryan Fuhs. Miller had an awsome race last winning the 300 hurdles and breaking the old record in crummy race conditions. Congratulations to all those who won tonight both boys and girls. It was a great meet.
O and... it looks like we were both wrong about the mile, because in your first post you said weber was the favorite as well...
Prelims start today with all others tomorrow..

Nobody had that great of a race for the mile. Fuhs has run faster than that on indoor (I think he ran a 4:32 @ central). The mile wasn't what I thought it would be and I'm hoping conference will be better. With the same field plus Morrison, and hopefully some better weather, it should be an amazing race.
I know you made predictions knowing that this guy would be running two events, but a second race in the same day of that long of a distance is not indicative of how fast that person is.
