Pretty good turnout at the meet today. It was great cloudy weather too until a few minutes into the 1-3a guys race, which leaves us(4-5a guys) to run in the blazing sun at 11:30. Oh well, my time got slower while everyone else's, that I talked to, seemed to have gotten faster. I still placed 10th behind Seth and Zach Convington, and a whole crew of Tupelo guys and an Olive Branch guy somewhere in the mix. Huge props to Tupelo, they are having a great year already. Congrats to Derek, he placed 2nd in the 1-3a guys race. Sorry, I can't remember any of the times. I do know that Tupelo placed 1st and 2nd in the 4-5a girls race with whitney ray from Pontotoc in 3rd. 4-5a girls results.... 1st-Tupelo, 2nd-Pontotoc, 3rd-Saltillo......... 4-5a guys results.... 1st-Tupelo, 2nd-Saltillo, 3rd-Pontotoc, 4th-Olive Branch, 5th-Oxford. I know Pontotoc, Oxford, and Saltillo will be at the Oxford meet next weekend and Tupelo will be at MS State. Where is everyone else running?

Only the area around the start\finish does. The rest is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Prepare yourself to carry everything your team brings to meets for a good distance before you get to where everyone sets up.
