Hey, with some of our best sprinters gone this year I thought I would try some events to get us some easier points than in sprints. Around here 4' 4" would win a duel (there are the exceptions, but it always places). Judging by last year 5' would get you first in the county relays, 5' 4" would get you first in the county, 4' 10" would get you 4th in the county, and so on. So I figure if I can go at least 5' I can get some points in these meets. Anyways I've never auctually done high jump (I'm a soph), other than in gym class. The other day I set up this thing in my basement and jumped 3' 5" with one stride before it and landing on my feet and did that fine with room to spare so I figure I'll do alright. Anyways what should I do to get good for this year? I'm a girl PS.
