Now that this weekends meets are all done, now we can look forward to next weekend, which includes the Prospect Invite. What teams are going to be there?

I know York will be there, and Palatine will be sending a few guys, but who else will be running. This should be a great meet and hopefully the weather can be better than last year.

Stevenson is really the border for north shore vs nw sububrbs. I wouldnt consider it a north west, palitine would also be nw, new trier, Glenbrook north, lake forest and deerfield would be more north schools

I'd have to say Northwest. Or should they really just be Mid-west (Mid-suburban league)
Prospect relays should be great this year and hopefully the weather will be cold and rainey just like every year. I think its great Palatine is sending some guys, see how good Finley can be with 5 weeks till state.

Any chance York relives their past glory from 95 and 96 and once again wins both the Prospect and Glenbrook South Relays (with their JV) on the same day? Those teams would wipe the floor with the current iteration.

first mile was 4:39, i guess it was slow cause alot of the guys negative split, finley and craven led through the first mile, finley faded back to bout 5th bout outkicked kuphall and havel, it a good dual between craven and dettman all the way to the line, dettman obviously won.

Myself and a few others had Stevens at 4:12.? at the tape. The kid is only a junior, as were almost all of the other top finishers in the distance events. What a great meet!

Then it was probably 4:13 as none of the guys I was around had a clear look. Either way it was quite an impressive time. It is nice to see a top Class A guy go head to head with top Class AA talent.

4x8 was insane 7 teams broke 8, very exciting race. The 2 mile was the best race of the day. 907 909 912 913 913. Just think what Mac would've ran if he was in the deuce.

When is the last time a freshman ran 9:15? Sage at State, right? Havel probably hasn't peaked. That's insane.

Maybe, it would've been a much different race by prospect though also. What if prospect put craven in there 4x8? I bet he could go 157. Thats atleast a second faster than addante.

A lot of 'what ifs' (granted i'm guilty too), but it could be another great race at state, not this many teams went sub 8 at prospect last year and there will surely be others who contribute later at state like quincy and lockport did last year. It seems like there will be a lot of questions as far as who will run on the relay for different teams.

Looking at Palatine's website, they stated that their time in the 3200 relay at Prospect was 8:03.9 and that the 8:00.7 was incorrect.
