Is there a schedule for this meet out yet b/c I believe I will running the steeple there but I have SAT IIs that morning and I was wondering what time the steeple will be run. I tried to find the schedule for the 2004 meet and the 2003 meet but they dont exist anymore.

i would recommend not trying to race on the same day as the SAT...its not an easy thign to do. the SAT just wears you out so much

I don't know the exact times but the 3k steeple is definitely later on in the day (3ish-4ish?) and the 2k is early on.

I understand that its tough to race after the SATs, but these are just SAT IIs and I've raced pretty well coming off of PSATs in XC (a new pr of 13:45 in fact at VCP) and APs last year. Plus, if the 3K IS that late, then I don't think I have much to worry about.

last year i streched and stripped down on the bus ride over to the meet and did a dead sprint to the starting line of my race. I was about 10 feet away when they shot the gun. i missed my race about about 2 seconds b/c some kid on my team was taking the SATs. roar.

this year im taking them and my dad is gonna be sitting outside the school in my getaway vehicle and we are going to speed our way to the meet. so watch the roads. i'm not gonna miss it again.

Which mile? I don't know the exact time, but I'm pretty sure the 4xmile is friday night because I ran it last year.

Here's a link (http://www.just-in-time-racing.com/track/St_Anthonys_ST_Invitaional_boys_entry.pdf)to the order of events. It's in PDF format and the last page.

yea, the morning starts at 10 now because the sats are longer, so kids will have more time.

Mcdermott won the 3200 in about 9:29 with Charles White second in 9:32 and Chris Williams third in 9:35. In the 1600, Ryan Hays just barely outkicked Sean Tully in about 4:22. Also, Howell from Syosset won the 800.

does anyone else find it ridiculous that results still haven't been posted for this meet? this used to be a relatively high quality meet and got a good amount of coverage from newsday in the past, but i still haven't heard a thing.
