I think its going to be a battle between monsigner farrell and arlington

well the way farrell's fifth man came up at manhattan, itd seem st. francis could give em a run for their money. They are very strong through 4. Whereas farrell is strong through 3 and has a decent 4th. both teams have 5th man issues.

it should be a good race for kberg, st francis and farrell; could be a pre-race for cities

If Farrell & Arlington aren't considered some of the best teams in the eastern states, I'm not really sure who you think is.

Why isn't the Eastern States Boy's race part of Manhattan Inv. like the girls race?

They should have a championship at Manhattan, since they started putting top teams together instead of the normal spreading them out over all races.

because eastern states is run by Fordham University, while Manhattan College invite is run by Manhattan College

eastern states doesnt always have to best teams but it seems to always have some really fast times there and i like to think of it as a tune up race after manhattan and a prep race for cities

What about Pope John... i've heard they're good but what have they done?

The Pope John Boys’ Cross-Country team finished a respectable 2nd at the 3rd annual Warwick Valley “Wave Mania” XC Invitational. Topping the Lions was northeast regional power Warwick Valley.

Won the Shore Coaches ‘E race with the 3rd fastest team average. Only Morris Hills and CBA were faster.

This team has a great 1-2. 4 and 5 may be suspect.

The top teams are still spread out in the boys races. The only reason why FM, CBA, and Morris Hills were all in the same race last weekend was because Morris Hills asked to be in the same race as FM and CBA. If all the top teams were in the same race then Saratoga, Warwick, Liverpool, etc... would have joined FM, CBA, and Mo. Hills in one big race.

Pope John boys have really worked on getting that spread down. the have some real decent times in some dual meets the last 2 weeks an have gotten their 4- 5-6 runners much closer together. the shore coaches meet PJ #7 guy is normally #5 and real close to #4 that really hurt the team average. i expect a much better performance tomorrow at Easterns.
The PJ girls are looking very strong as well, i expect them to run a fast average. It is looking like they are 7 deep with a tight pack from 3 to 7 and a great frontrunner and a real good #2(transfer who just competed this week)

Doesn't appearing foolish bother you ?
