What are your school records. Ours are:
Pole vault-15'
High-6'6"
Long-22'11"
Triple-51'5.5"
Amazingly the long and triple were the same guy. you'd think he would have a better long. he goes way farther now and competes professionally but that's besides the point. my point is does anyone else feel like their school records are too unreachable. i'm not saying i deserve a record, but i wish the triple(my fav) was at least practicle so i had something to strive for.

the long record is my goal this year. i have only high jumped one time so i don't see myself learning to high jump 6'6" in one year. the pole vault isn't that great either but is not my bag. my main focus was on the triple because it is my specialty and favorite. i was seeing if anyone else had a favorite event with an impossible record in their way.

Came to post this.

Uhm. . .Tulane's T&F records (where I'll be competing in the spring):

HJ - 7'2.25" (Ted Taylor, 1994)
LJ - 25'9.5" (Jay Pennington, 1983)
TJ - 53'0.25" (Noel Comrie, 2001)
PV - 16'8.75" (Robbie Manard, 1997)

Hell, let's go one step further:

Brown's T&F records (where I'm competing at now):

HJ - 7'4.5" (Terrence Ferguson, 2003)
LJ - 25'11" (Jeffrey Nord, 1999)
TJ - 50'6" (Colm Cronin, 1979)
EDIT: He jumped 53'4" indoors.
PV - 17' (Brad Bowery, 2003)

That HJ should be going down, though; we had a sophomore jump 7'0.25" last spring and he's only getting better.

It's funny, because Tulane historically has a much better program than Brown, but their records are slightly better (only in the jumps, sprints are light years ahead). Go figure.
