Hello,
Now as the regular season is coming to an end and the Championship series begins I have a question. What do you guys think is the ideal race strategy for an individual? Positive-splitting or negative? Are there any other tactics that you find useful?
Thanks...

I don't think you can consider one "tactic" to be better than another. It really varies depending on the individual.

Races towards the end of the season get faster in the end of the season becuz they get more competitive and people get antsy, just dont let the pack get too far in front of you, but also dont be an escareno if ya know what i mean.

Big meets like state, get out a little faster, wait for the pace to settle, then move up. Smaller meets you can go out at a relaxed pace and not worry too much because the field will spread out more quickly and moving up is easier.
You can't go by splits, because the course terrain may change during the race and make it impossible to negative split. You also can't be sure the mile markers are accurate too. Ever notice how the last mile of state is always a lot slower? That's because you go up the incline twice in the last mile.
