So what did you guys think about it, at least those who took 'em today. I felt they were fairly easy. I felt confident throughout the whole thing except the last page of the math portion. That sh*t was tough.

enlgish was easy as always.

Math is tough if u dont math high level math, if you do its a breeze. For me it was pretty tough. Except #60 was really easy.

Reading was easy as hell. I ran outta time for the least three question tho so i bubbled in randomness.

Science was easy as hell, but ran outta some time.

I think i did better on math cuz during the break i asked some smart kids the answers on the tough problems, and i sneakly remarked them. So hopefully i got a point or two higher.

I thought this test was a LOT easier than the one we took on the April 9th.

The social science passage on the other one was about liberals and government, today's was about document authenticity, much easier to read. Very interesting article about compost, too.

did u leave out the part when they added a hypen and something about compust growing the fruit nobody wants to eat? i said it doesnt belong, i really wanna know if i got it right.

Zoso

I said to add it. I wasn't quite sure, but I risked it since it was so witty.

How about the ending line to the other article, "either way, ants are cool!"

Kryx

I said it should because it clarifies mistakes. it was between that or "no, because it takes away from the point that compost makes vegatables grow better"

yeah i was between those too. Like a question later was a same kinda question, but this time i kept it. I just didnt add it cuz it was kinda a silly phrase.

and yes the ants was cool part was funny. what was the right answer for that one?

i was doing awsome in the reading, until i skimmed through the one about the dancer lady. then i read the questions and it took like 15 minutes to go back and forth. extra 6 minutes. i just got that act program in my calc last night, which has the midpoint formula, etc, etc, etc

HAHAHAHAH NO WAY!!! I remember that part.
Do you guys remember the essay about how crows team up against hawks who hunt them down?

overall i'd definately say this one was much easier than the one we took on the 9th. the english was the same as always(easy) and i actually finished the reading and science this time and had time enough to go through them and fix some answers. math, which is one of my strongpoins, seemed a little more challenging this time but i still think i got all/most of them right...it just took longer.

btw i got a 29 on the last one...hoping for like a 31 here

I agree Zoso. And that story about the two asians was so adorable. "HIs eyelashes matted with snow, his eyes as dark as the New York night sky, I placed the hat into his long fingers..." I had to take my hoody off for this one- a little hot under the collar with all that sexual tension

On a similar note...the PSAE's were ridiculously easy today

the first half of the math test was basic addition the second half was mulitplication

science was easy but you actually had to know some information unlike the act where it's all in front of you

reading was pretty easy, atleast the first part

everyone agree?

Yes. Did anyone actually read the passages or did you just look at the questions then scan the passage? Actually, did anyone care at all about the PSAE's?

The PSAE is not a test for intelligence. it should be a test for who could make the best design on the scan tron. I hardly read the reading. I basically always went with my gut. I finished everything in less the 15 min.If anyone took the test seriously then you should be shot. And the writing I wrong an angry letter to them saying that they are what is wrong with america, and stated real problems like racism, minimum wage, and others. I then called them nazis and told them to shove this and the no child left behind act up their @ss!

Which major country is directly south of the United States?

A. Brazil
B. Mexico
C. China
D. Venezuela

Dont worry its not affecting u.
That's where you're wrong. ACT is curved. That's why anyone who usually scores decently in the ACT moves up a few points in the Prairie State ACT. All the non-college-bound kids have to take it and pull the curve way down.

I am a freshmen and don't need to worry about the ACT a bit, but I heard there is a question in math about the $3.00 and how many quarters you give to him to equal $3.00.

its been 2 years since I took the ACT but i don't remember questions like that being on there. Math was the easiest subject but even if there is a question like that they are all not like that. ACT isn't that easy of a test, now the PSAE, thats a different story

My sister took the ACT/PSAE also over the past 2 days

If thousands of kids cheated, it would matter, if one person did it, it doesnt matter. And the guy who said it was a senior so thats why I said the other comment. And you supposibly got a 34 so shut it.

haha the psae's were the most pointless things ever. one question was about 2 black guinea pigs who had brown, white and grey babies. then it asked y were they not black? and one of the answers was "they wanted to be segregated" or something. im sure it was a biology term but still funny

and that essay!!! hahahhaha, hard hand slapping and verbal name calling. i put "after soccer games, hard hand slapping is a very bad problem, lets say one of the kids has aids, and he slaps the other kids hand really hard, so hard that both of their hands bleeds. then they both have aids. the whole purpous of playing soccer is to have fun, not create conflict. how are you supposed to have fun when u have aids?"
