Our teams 4x4 is not on the poll, but they should be. Here are their OPEN times this year.
Lead off man 50.3 but is really inconsistent
2nd man 52.0 one of our 800 guys might take this spot he has ran the 400 twice and has ran 51.5
3rd guy 49.3 consistent
anchor 48.7 consistent
mile relay 4x4

Last weekend, Thorton went 3:24.8 w/ Lincoln-Way East right behind at 3:25.0. I'm pretty sure Thorton's 4x4 was stacked, but not positive.

what school is this that has a 49.3 and 48.7 400 runner, the only two schools with guys of that caliber are Nequa with Splan and Reily, and OPRF with Jones and Walden, and they're both up there.

The school is Champaign Central. I think we got fourth at IPTT. The 48.7 was ran by Maxwell Mxwklamba at the Decatur Invite about a month ago, and the 49.3 was ran by Josh Stanner in the same race. Those results were never sent into IPTT. The problem is our lead off man is real inconsistent, yesterday he ran 50.3 in the open, but in the relay he always runs like 53 or 50. He has also false started a few times. Our second leg, I think should be replaced, but our coach loves that kid because he is such a hard worker. Also, their hand offs are horrendous.

hmm...maybe the team shouldn't be up there if there are that many problems. I guess they do have potential though.
