Here we go - first lap after ~220 meters
For those wondering where Ridgewood is, only Byron Williams's blue shoe is visible between the O'Hara runner's feet and his hand to the right.

For those wondering about Ridgewood's fade here, Michael Cator was quite ill on Thursday night and was ~18 seconds off his Arcadia anchor leg time. This team will be back as there are no seniors on the squad.

How fast was Newton North's leadoff's final lap? He was in the back of the pack for the first two laps, then ends up first in 3:06? That's a serious closer.

yeah, he showed that indoors in his mass. state meet mile victories - both sectionals and finals. both times he ran 61+ (29+ last 200) for the 400. i'm not too suprised that he would hammer away - i'm more suprised that he broke away from so many guys.
when did horel fall?

when did horel fall?
I heard he was tripped up accidentally by zach tedoff (colts neck) 750m in to it, so coming down the homestretch to start the third lap.

Not exactly. Horel went down approx 650 meters into the 1200 leg (early in turn #4)

David Polgar's an absolute beast at closing races, even during a relaxed dual meet we were doing an 800 together pretty easy, we went out in 64 for the heck of it than I was trailing him with 300 to go he put the jets on because he thought i was an opposing runner, his last 200 was 28ish and the last lap was 60,

Not to nitpick, but it was closer to 750 (actually probably about 730 meters in). Horel was just coming onto the straightaway to start his third lap. Penn has very short straightaways so he was 60-70 meters from the line.

That is true the straightaways are very short , so kind of deceptive on where fall occurred.

I thought he went down when that first collision occurred....it happened at approx the 650m mark. Horel was right in the area. Oddly enough, he may have survived that one, and fell in another collision (which I missed) 100m later.

I actually thought he stumbled a bit heading into the turn, but Heath said he didn't. I didn't bother to ask him myself.

I was watching the race with the rest of the 3rd legs on the track and Horel fell once.

No one is saying that Horel fell TWICE in the same 1200 leg. However, someone went down at the 650m point on that leg. The leadoff from my alma mater had to jump over/around him.
Horel may very well have gone down 100m later (750m)
