At least according to the results site there are two more women's 1500 heats to be run along with the B section of the men's 5000. So a bit of time left.

What do you mean at William and mary? he ran 848? in HS....he could probably have ran 1405-1415 in hs. I wouldn't be surprised to see him going 1345ish this year in a faster race near seasons end.

I mean that 14:01, All-American in XC and a spot on the World Juniors XC team makes him pretty beastly for a true frosh, you pompous ass.

That was a really good run by Christo. I can see him going 13:45ish later in the season. He should qualify for the world jrs. team in the 5000. Why was the 10k so slow with a guy like Mortramm in it? I would have thought the rabbitt would be going for a low 27 pace, maybe 27:10-27:20ish
mzungu

the 5k was about 10 seconds slower than I thought it would be, but outstanding run for withrow at 13:35! I guess this puts to rest all that talk of where he would stand, based on his indoor and nat/world xc results. I had him breaking 13:40 this year, but I did not figure that he would beat solinsky.
also, a terrific performance from ian dobson (27:59.72) in a race that was a lot slower than last year. american collegians do not often go under 28 for 10k. of course, it was widely expected that he would break 28 after his 13:27 5k recently, but we know that expectations for american collegians are rarely borne out.
the 14:10 from stanford's forest tahdoahnippah (if i'm spelling that right) is much more in line for what i expected from him than his early season race somewhere north of 14:30. is stuart eagon (13:53) at stanford or oregon?
runnerdude

you think after withrow's preformances of late that wisconson will consider "un-readshirting" him and giving him a shot at NCAA's

eagon is at wisco. 14:10 for forrest is AWESOME. he has been running forever! also, check out garrett heath running unattached (RS stanford), 13:56. by next cross season he should be top 15.
