18 years old for each of the following races:
3-26-2005
51.1 for 400m....good race, but im still looking to drop that into the 50.x range, or sub 50
4-5-2005
23.8 for 200m....I've never had much practice coming out of blocks, and unfortunately didn't do it right at all in this, the second race where i used them. Got 4th place.
4-9-2005
2:01.3 split for 800m....betters my 2:01.9 from last year....we ran a decent 4x8 but will hopefully do much better next week and maybe qualify for Penn.

I have no idea about the dates/ages that I was when I ran them. They were not in 2004 though. My PRs came between 2002-2003, when I was 15-17.
Mile: 4:53 (road time trial)
1600: 4:55, (track race spring before that TT, year before I was injured so I didn't get a chance to lower it the next spring)
3200: 10:33 (Indoors)
5k Road: 17:44 (my first time under 18)
5k CC: 17:20
5000: 17:10 (track)
10k Road: 35:54 (won the race against my team by ~1:30, lead from the start)

Ask steveu for access to it so that you can put the PR list up. He should give it to you as you've obviously contributed to the board in a very positive way and put alot of time into that list.

The reason has more to do with not everybody being able to post there. Therefore less people will probably browse that board and less people will contribute to updating it (even if they just PMed me their times instead of doing it as a reply.) Legend's Lounge was good because it was pretty universal. Maybe I'll put it there and the HS general board (which seems more RR now, but I don't want to make it a HS list) or something. I'll figure it out.

5k xc: October 2004 - 16:46 - a flat but really muddy course, but a real solid race. I felt like I was in control the entire race, even though I threw up a minute before the start
3000: April 2005 - 9:14 - awesome race. Started off slow, but picked up and I hung on with the leaders until I could no more
1500: April 2005 - 4:22 - Pretty good race, but kind of windy. Split 66, 73, 73, 50.
800: April 2005 - 2:12 This race is the devil. Never ran a good race, but this one went out in 61, then the next 150 meters were pure hell. I kind of got a second wind and put in a decent kick, but god I hate this race.

10K-- 36:22 (10-04)
15K-- 55:46 (10-04)
I've done this all while running 70-80 miles/week in flats (Puma H Streets) and about 10% of my weekly mileage done barefoot.

Why do you americans think its ok to count splits as PR's? Your only kidding yourselves. Get out there and run a real race!
how are we kidding ourselves?
if your PR in the 800 is 2:05...and in the mile you open the first 800 in 2:04...thats technically a pr..cause you covered 800m faster than you ever have before...unless otherwise that is technically a PR...

Why do you americans think its ok to count splits as PR's? Your only kidding yourselves. Get out there and run a real race!First of all, I live in northern Ukraine.
Nah, just kidding, I'm from the USA.
But do you mean splits as in, en route, or splits as in 4x800?
Both count in my opinion, as long as you aren't picky about tenths and hundredths. tenths are okay if the timer knows what he/she is doing.
I have never run an open 800m in high school, and probably won't ever. So the 4x800, or en route during a 1600, is the only way I can get a time for that event. It's better than nothing.

i don't usually count relay splits as PR's, but if your current PR is a 2:10 and you run a 2:03 or something, that counts.

400-51.0
This time the 800 was in an open race so it actually counts, the last time was a split in the 4x800. Both of my 400's are 4x400 splits.
New 3200 PR today, I ran 10:06 all by myself with like 4 other guys in the race. Even split nearly the whole race, I'm pretty pleased.
I somehow managed to run a 53.9 400 in the 4x400 right afterwards as well.

You're right -- that 2000 is faster, but I didn't count en-route splits. That 2000 was a time trial, and I think I came through the mile in 4:39, then ran a 65. I was pretty suprised I could do that...I guess it just means my mile time sucks and should be faster. I dunno.

I'm not whining about it, I actually think I run better in cold weather, and the rain really isn't too bad if you're a distance runner.
