Does anyone know why Brittany didn't run with her team at the Penn Relays? I not 100% that she didn't run but she wasn't listed in the progran and I don't think I saw her? She would have done really well individually too I think!

As far as I know, it's nothing serious.
Nice anchor from Tomlin. Young lady got range.

so, ocean city is a sub 12 DMR team!!!
4 12:09.47 E Ocean City
Allie Morland (3:45.7), Tiara Telymonde (60.8), Erin Walsh (2:21.8), Renee Tomlin (5:01.2)
where did morland come from??? also, take maybe 6 or 7 seconds off of the 800 leg if tomlin ran (she has to be in at least 2:15 shape right now) and take a good 5 or 6 seconds off of the 1600 leg if sedberry ran...
so that would be 2:16 and 4:56, so OC could have gone or can potentially go 11:58-59 then!?!?! also, i know tomlin is a junior and so is sedberry, but what year is morland???
they can make an assault on the NJ record at nationals if sedberry is healthy... 3:45, 60+, 2:10 and 4:53 (conservative split)!!!

Allie Moreland has been an integal part of the Lady Raider success over the past few years. She has good range and is a versatile relay performer. A gamer who Q'd in the 8 at indoor MOC.
Allie is a Senior and will attend the Naval Academy in the fall.

It was confirmed recently by bone-scan that Brittnay Sedberry has a two pronged stress fracture in her shin. She will be out for the standard six weeks... She got a second opinion after her first doctor said she was clear to run, only suffering from severe shin splints. Her second opinion confirmed the worst.

Darn shame she'll miss the rest of the NJ season. Will she be back to run at nationals?

is this girl injury prone or what!?!?!? i don't mean that in a negative way either... it seems she is always getting hurt! how many stress fractures has she had so far??? is there a way to avoid this, say maybe doing ALL running on grass and dirt - that may be hard down in OC...
the OC DMR can still get close to 12 flat i think with the current line up though - seeing how the girls peaked at teh right time last year would only make me guess they have room for improvement over the next 6 or 7 weeks.

This is Seds' 2nd bout w/ a stress fracture as far as I can recall. I don't know if that makes her injury prone. Maybe.
With the exception of Allie Moreland the DM team that ran at Penn is all underclasswomen.Telymonde is a soph, Tomlin and Walsh are Jrs.

that is a good 4 x mile there if sedberry were healthy!?!?!? i am guessing moreland is good for 5 flat at least and sedberry/tomlin both sub 5 minutes and then walsh sub 5:10... that could be realistic... damn stress fractures always messing things up!?!?!?

Morland just ran 3:45 for 1200m and you are putting her at 5 flat? She can run another 75 after averaging 75 all out?
Tomlin just PR'ed by ~19 seconds. Sub-5 is not a given. Although, she is so good I would not doubt it.
And I'm not so sure 2:21 converts to sub-5:10 for Walsh. Would like to see a result from her at that distance. Anybody know if she has run 1600m?

Yeah JW... you're right about this one. I think Allie Moreland's fastest 16 to date is 5:13, Walsh has never run the 16, but does run XC... I think she was top 5... so I think she's got the range to go 5:18. Renee is defanitely good for sub 5 after her 5:02, third time she has actually run the event, 2nd this season besides a crappy duel meet.

Then we have to add the 1.5 for the conversion. ;)
