I;m from ny, and there's a post about this in the elite forum, but I thought it would be more than appropriate to start one here. As many of you probably know, Hailie Gebersalassie, perhaps the worlds greatest distance runner, is coming to Arizona to try and set the half marathon record. This is really cool, if I lived in Arizona I'd be rly excited to see him run. Gl Geb!

i would watch... but im going to run in it instead! they have to make a new course for him though, to make it official. something about elevation i think? very exciting.

Im running in the 1/2. you have to be 18 to run in the full.
