Disc 182-8
Practice doesnt count. If everyone included their "Practice PR's", we would all be heroes.

Did you start the post? I think not. So lets repeat the question
Just interested in the PRs of all you throwers out there So he just wanted PR's he didnt say what kind so I included them all. So it might be in your best interset (so you don't show off how dumb you are by opening your mouth) To just post your PRs and say no more.

Usually when one tells of their PR's its usually what they've done in competition. It was just an opinion, Im not here to start any drama. If Ive offended you Im sorry.

Just to clarify something, not all throwers are guys so don't assume that. If you looked at the weight lifting pr's, I said that I was a sophomore girl. Just getting that out there -- not trying to be offensive but just trying to break down the stereotype ;)

high school senior, female
shot 33' 8" (37' practice)
Discus 77' 7" (85+' practice)
my state does not have the other throws :( and I only included practice throws because I have a back injury that flares up worse by the time I throw in a meet than practice.

We have had this talk before, I went to your college site then to milestat and checked the results of the first meet because I just could not believe you went from throwing 43' with the 12# to 50+ with a 16 in less than a year. I was right. You did not.

You want me to believe that now you are throwing 55 with a 16# shot and 190 with a 2kg discus?? Is there another Justin White? At the Tennessee State meet a Justin White threw the 12# 43' and got 8th, and did not compete in the discus. What's up with that???
Yes that is me. I am Justin White from McMinn County. Now I am in college. I go to East Tennessee State University. I am working with the best weight Coach in the Nation Dr. Mike Stone and I am also working with Meg Stone who holds the current collegiate records in the Shot Put and Discus in girls. I began lifting about 2 weeks after that state meet in which i threw 43.5 or something like that. Anyways now with the weights I am at 475lb on squat, 400lb on the bench, doing about 250 overhead squat, and 300 military press. With that i have practiced 4 times a week. I started at about 40 then slowly i have progressed to 55 right now in the shot and the discus throw is the same i started throwing about 100 and now with progression i am now at 185 190. I have just spent a lot of time in the weight room. And I am now a firm believer that the weights pay a big role. Sorry if i wasnt clear the first time.
