I think the Fairbanks Girls XC team is the finest story of the year in HS XC. They run day after day in subzero weather and in layers and layers of shirts, jackets, gloves, etc. They qualify for NTN and do a great job representing a state that is often neglected. However, I do feel a little bad for them because they come to the Oregon hoping for some sun and decent weather, but have to deal with weather conditions yet again. Congratulations on a great season.

Yes and have now defeated Jesuit twice this year, i.e. 2 and 0.

LOL 40 and wet doesn't exactly qualify as tough conditions for these girls- they got to run in a summer monsoon! Anybody who thinks 40 is cold for distance running has obviously let the heat and humidity get to their brains.

Congrats on a great effort ladies- again- wonderful to see real participation from the best from all corners.
