I'm alittle hazy on this year's freshman class. Who out there is running some good freshman times? We had a freshman run a 10:26 3200m last week, and a 4:54 mile. Just wondering if any schools ahve anybody around or better than these times.

Willie Ahearn from Danbury, 4:41 last week at Staples along with Doug Wright (Darien) at 4:51

Today at Little C's, Yona Horn from Danbury ran a 11.3 in the 100 prelims

Well at Westhill we have a couple talented freshmen, none of them have put up those kind of times, but we have had a couple mile times at around 5:1x and a 3 minute 1000.

We have 5 milers under 5:20, 2 sub 5, and me and another freshmen are right around 5

what school are you from?

Guilford has a lot of young talent. Not sure the times but I know a few under 5 / 11minutes. NFA has 2 freshman sub five minutes.

by the end of the year nfa hopes to have around 15 sub 5 milers right now around 9 and a handful that are very close to breaking it... they haven't had the best weather conditions to do it yet..but i am willing to say they will break the 5 min zone and possible go into the low 4.50 range

NFA looks to be really strong for cross country next year. Do they have big plans for the Fall?

NFA has about 3 freshmen that can and will be in the 4.50s and can also run in the low 10.40s and by the end of the season in the 10.30s

Impressive... we have the fastest freshmen miler in CT i've seen so far (Willie Ahearn, 4:41) and Matt Terry (16:59 5K in XC) and was the first freshmen overall at states... then i run 5 minutes, real close to goin sub 5, and there is another freshmen only a few seconds away from me...

Do you think by any chance NFA would make their way up to Danbury for a freshmen meet were hosting later this season?
