6 Greg Kelsey 4:17.59 Saratoga Springs
lets see about 12:50 for 3 legs; what does bangert have to run to make this team competitive with shenendehowa 2003 record? 4:35.
guess you could add some time for the benefit of pacing here, but ya might want to take a bit back off if you think these guys will improve above times by nationals.
impressive performance here - led by new top man - kiley gregory.:)
I think they will do it come march.

Don't you think they may die off by March? They've been running hard for so long now, you wonder how long they will last

nah - they kindof started slow in XC, compared to others, (manhatten, brown) and then showed up big time at states, NTN, obviously.
last year murdock surprised with amazing performance at end of indoor - the 9:11, 2nd to cormier.
this makes me guess they will finish big when it matters most.

kiley has been running great, but i have TONS of respect for murdock. Every time I have seen him run he has led and done the grunt work. Its made a lot of opportunities for the other saratoga runners like kiley. States, NTN, Brown, Hispanic games. Murdock always goes out and makes the pace more than honest

I think those same comments were made re Toga during X Country?
FM's early indoor run of 17:39 w/ a per man average of 4.25 looked unbeatable until yesterdays Toga's showing. Toga's 3 runners under 4:18 w/ adding a 4th 4:30 miler from their deep team, puts them at 17:20. Fm still hasn't shown that level of speed w/ their top 4. That's a big gap that will take more than tired runners to overcome.
R we looking at a sub 17:20 4 x mile come outdoors?

When Kiley passed Mudock on the back straight, you should've seen the face murdock made, it was priceless.

Im not sure if any of you guys were at the rac yesterday..but what i thought that when kiley made that huge surge, I thought he made of done it to help murdock and help him win but murdock just never came with him.

Every race I have seen Murdock in, he takes the lead for most of the race, but it never pans out for him individually. He can't seem to fininsh what he starts. Maybe he should change his strategy so that he can win, instead of finishing behind the leader. I would llike to see that happen for him.

nah, thats just the way steve is, it works for him sometimes, so he keeps on truckin the same.
greg kiley sells airheads at meet. 5 for dollar. but other organizations in the school started gunning for him and selling 7 for a dollar and he was run out of bisuness. he is a good man

I don't think FM's early season time looked "unbeatable." Certainly everyone knew Saratoga would be strong, as is CBA (ran 17:36 for 4 x 1600 outdoors last year - and bring everyone back from that team), and Morris Hills (though they probably are missing a big stud anchor.)
And its tough to compare FMs relay effort 3 weeks ago - on a flat track with zero competition - to 3 Saratoga guys running in a loaded invitational race on arguably the fastest indoor track in the country. Saratoga certainly has the horses to run fast. Then again, York had 3 around 4:15 last year and a handful more who could run under 4:25 and they didn't win NON, and barely broke 17:30.
Finally, I wonder if we'll see a match-up with all the top teams indoors at all. Saratoga traditionally goes down to NIN in Maryland, FM to my knowledge rarely runs the indoor championships, and CBA usually runs @ NSIC. So who knows if we'll see any top match-ups.

one of yorks sub 415 guys didnt run (there best guy) so it would be more like 2 at 425 and 2 at 415 but still good point

If they could just get a guy to run like 52/3 this could translate to a very good DMR also.
