You could start by not capitalizing every word. (sorry, that was just starting to bug me)
Just train over the Summer alone and look for some road races I guess. Not too many though. Talk to the track coach.

i did talk to the track coach and he said there is nothing he can do about it. although he said to train hard and increase my mileage. but what point does it make to train over the summer if there is no xc season. pls someone give me advice on what to do.thank u

Well if you train over the summer, you could meet up with people at the start of school to run with. Just because there's no XC season doesn't mean you can't train hard and jump into a few races. Not a big deal.

just be a road warrior for the fall season. there's bound to be enough local races to provide something for which to train

If you're going to temple, there should be a lot of road races in the area. Do that to occupy the fall.

I was going to go to Temple University, but changed my mind to Manhattan College at the last second. I talked to the track coaches at Temple and they said they were trying to start up an XC team in the near future.

The other guys on the team must train together during the fall season. What, do you think just sit around and worry about not having an xc team. I went to a college last year that had an xc team but no track team and we trained together year round and even did our own workouts during the winter and spring seasons. We ran unattached in a bunch of spring meets. I also know a few other runners in the same situation, so don't worry about it. You will be fine once you get there and meet up with the other guys and the coach.

That's amazing that a school like Temple doesn't have an XC team. I had no clue. Anyway, there's plenty of racing in the Philadelphia area, and some good running clubs. I'm going to med school in the city next year, and am thinking about latching on with Bryn Mawr Running Co. or a similar club so I can find some local people to train with. There's a huge running community in the Philly area, though...it shouldn't be too tough to find something that works for you.
