It is hard to give advice to you because you are so young, and I have never seen you jump. The best advice that I can think of is this:
1. Maintain a consistant speed through each jump, and accelerate the turn a little.
2. Jump strait up. A commen mistake among younger jumpers is trying to jump into the bar to clear it. This is a natural thing to do, and you have to train yourself not to. You have to learn to trust your speed, because it will carry you over the bar. So maintain a good speed and put all your energy into jumping strait up, not into the bar.
Hope that helps

i remeber when i was in 6th grade... and i had the same exact problem.
like the dude before... just jump strait up... also when u get ur run/jump down to were its natrual all u have to think about is up,curl, kick.
and pick out something behind the mat so right when u see it u kick, it helps alot.

I STILL have that problem. Might I recommend TONS of situps and ab stuff.
It will make kicking your legs really easy. It helped me get 3 inches.
