i wear supportive gear in the form of AND-1 compresion shorts. they are so cool. i dont have those shorts with built in supportive gear lining though, for if i did i would be commando.

Usually boxers, compression shorts in races.
i wear whitey's all the time out of habit and ease...
as i'm not really worried about my sperm count right now i think i'll stick with the healthy support...maybe i'll start wearing boxers when i want kids...

Actually, the kind of underware you wear does not effect sperm count, they just thought it did.

same as reale...what do you guys wear for running shorts? if you're wearing stuff under running shorts, that's pointless, there's a ball hammock for a reason. if you're wearing basketball shorts, get running shorts...not only are basketball shorts much more uncomfortable than running shorts, but they restrict your motion because they hang low. there's a reason running shorts are so short.

If it is above freezing I freeball. If it is below freezing a wear long spandex running tights.
How can you not have spandex as an option though? Half my team wears spandex.
Bottom-line is wear running shorts, and don't wear anything under them. If you are to much of a pussy to freeball, get spandex. I actually don't know how guys can wear boxers, the one time I did I chaffed my balls to ****. Thank god for goldbond.

wow, i have tried it all. everything from boxers to free-ballin'. my personal favorite is the boxer-brief. they provide the comfort of a boxer yet also the support of a brief.

Running shorts are the only way to go and if you don't freeball then you are dumb. The only time I ever wear anything under running shorts is a. it is freezing or b. if it is freezing and windy. Anything else just restricts your motion too much. For you kids who are afraid to not wear stuff under your shorts it's not like anyone cares how white your legs are or how short your shorts are, we are track runners and it is acceptable.

Cross country, freebaling it, there's a banana hammock for a reason.
Indoor I tried out spandex for the first time, for some reason it made my legs colddd, I want to freeball but for some reason it just doesn't feel right..indoors..dunno. This year's outdoor I'll be starting up the use of the hammock too, so all goes well for running shorts design..
Running shorts all the time though? Very awkward with the team while you're stretching I think..

Acutally I asked a girl on my team if she did that, she said that most girls wear spandex or underwear under their shorts.

most of the girls on my team wear spandex. A few wear regular underwear. I am not sure what a couple wear, so they could wear thongs.

Boxer Breifs option?
He's right, there should be an option. Tighty whites are too tight but boxers let your package bounce too much. Boxer Briefs are perfect.

Nada, there is a crepe lining in my running shorts for a reason.
As for the girls...I am pretty sure my sister wears regular underwear and tights and I think a thong could get pretty painful if it was raining/longrun/any run at all. I could be wrong but it seems consistent with the girls that I know.

Okay well after meaning to get an account for a few weeks i finally did and now im glad bc Dyestat is seriously in need of girls to set some things straight. Yes a girl on Dyestat OMG its crazy i know:rolleyes:
Now for the question raised above girls are like guys and not all do the same thing. I know many wear thongs (including myself most of the time) and no it is not painful lol. A fair portion wears regular panties and then even some dont wear anything. Okay make sense now boys.... and dont go crazy about it.

I just wear running shorts. I do believe there's a reason that lining is built in there.
Also I wear running shorts as my underwear... Mostly because I'm too lazy to change into the shorts halfway through the day plus they are very comfy. That or I just don't wear any underwear at all.
Oh I'm out there Jerry and I'm loving it!

Good, you probably won't break 4:20 if you wear tighty whities.
And whoever called the lining a banana hammock, I hope you're not serious. It's a ball hammock...and I've never referred to them as a banana before.

Yeah, I do that...it just makes the world a better place...
Actually, the kind of underware you wear does not effect sperm count, they just thought it did.
This actually isn't true. Your sperm count is affected by the kind of underwear you wear. Sperm doesn't like heat, because the heat from them being close to your body kills them and lowers your sperm count. That's also the reasoning behind the statement that guys shouldn't use laptops on their laps. The heat from the computer kills sperm.
We just learned about it in Physiology today.

It is also a running site, so hopefully most people realize that you shouldn't wear anything under.

i always free ball, even in races, i guess its because when i was a freshmen all the seniors were anti spandex during races, i just followed their lead and i love it!!! you have to free ball if your a true runner.
maybe my school just sucks a little bit... but the uniforms are really old. I'm not sure anybody should want to freeball in shorts that have been worn by probably as many as 10 people before them... that just seems a little bit dirty to me. Its a different issue though when its my own shorts.

I tried it earlier this week. It was OK, but not amazingly comfortable. I may do it during track, since I come home for lunch I could change my underwear to running shorts. That way I won't have to wear them all day, but still don't have to change for track.
