Nice PR for Ritz, especially since it seems like it was just him and Torres, with Ritz still winning with an 8 second gap. Hopefully he gets into some fast races this summer and is able to lower his time even further.

This is great! He ran 13:27 in 2002 at Cardinal Invite 5k I believe. Now he runs a new pr. Although not as fast as I expected but I think that's because it wasn't an ultimate meet/race like Cardinal. If he enters something like Hengelo 5k he'd run 13:15 probably. I expect him to run another super fast 5k this season but will enter Helsinki 10k.

I'm wondering where that puts him on the all-time US list ... obviously not top 10 or 20, but maybe 25th-35th?

I think Ritz can run low 13:10's late this season in Zurich 5000. What will he run in Helsinki?

10000 is still his event! When will open?

U mean when will he run 10k? I'm not sure about that. He'll wanna run Usatf 10k and Helsinki 10k. I'm not sure if he needs a qualifier for any of those, I'm not sure. But if he needs a Usatf 10k qualifier he'd run in Hengelo 10k or Ostrava 10k(probably Ostrava 10k). If he needs Helsinki qualifier he'd do it in Hengelo or Ostrava(probably) or Usatf. We'll see. I wonder if he'll try for 5k this year in Helsinki?

Does anybody know if Ritz needs a qualifer for USatf 10k? What aboutg Helsinki 10k?
