I really need to find something I am good at in track. Based on my team I am decent I guess but I just want to get better. Going by my times this indoor season (and some outdoor) what would you say my best event is?
55 - 8.0
55H - 9.9 (just started hurdling this year)
100 - 13.6
200 - 28.5 (got outdoor but equaled indoor)
400 - 66.1 indoor
I will also be trying some jumps this spring.

I like the triple jump from what I've practiced at home so I guess I'll see how that goes at practice.

Anything sub 10 is decent in the 55m hurdles.. esp if this is your first year, do not give up on that!

i think people might laugh at her when she runs 110 meters and the rest of her heat stops at 100. i agree though, stick to the hurdles and don't count out jumping. on my team, we take all the sprinters who aren't quite fast enough to place in any meets and we turn them into triple jumpers. great thing about triple is that if you got good technique, you can beat people much more talented than yourself unlike in the sprints.

200 and 55h... 200 seems solid and last year on my schools girls team there was this girl who ran the 55h in around 10.2 or 10.3 and ended up running around 17.low in the 100h... so it lokos like you have plenty of potential in that, especially since you have almost a 2 second spread between your 55 and 55h times... if you work on the technique alot you could really drop the 55h time ALOT...

I thought you were a guy. I was gonna say "Get off the pc NOW and hit the track" but for a girl the 200 and the hurdles look good! what grade are you in right now?

i'm just going to have to agree with basically everyone else and say the 200m and the hurdles. what kind of jumps are you going to do? high jump, or triple/long jump?
