why do you think the asics spike is superior to the nike?
i'm curious because i am looking to get some new spikes, and i don't want to get crappy ones

I prefer Asics spikes over the rest. Asics is geared more toward T&F. I'm not sure why, but I seem to like all their products. I have a pair of their HJ spikes and I love them. Nike is a great company, but I tend to trust Asics more. It's very much an individual thing though, if you like Nike or Adidas or Reebok, get what feels best.
