Hey-
I am looking at running track and possibly hurdles in college, and though I've been offered the good 'ol "books and tuition" at a few juco's, I am wondering how my times would transfer to say a larger college (Kansas State for example). I unfortunately didn't go out for track until my junior year and had never even tried to go over a hurdle before, and as my senior year ends, I need to be making my mind where I'm going to school.
Here are some times for those of you who may know how these times would transfer to college times (i.e. 300m to 400m hurdles and 36" to 39" highs). I'm dreaming of running in purple next year.
110m highs- 15.45
300m intermediates- 39.46 (I belive I can run a 38 second race with good weather, which with kansas wind does not often happen.)
200m dash- 23.17
400m - 51.90
800m - 2:08 (my junior year)
Oh yeah, I threw the shot just a hair over 35' in practice the other day (irrelevant, I know)
Also, does enybody know of a American top 100 list of best times? I would like to see how many are under 39 seconds in the 300 hurdles.
Anyway, thanks to those who can help!

outdoor list #1- as of april 22nd, these are the times at 38.24 (38.0 hand timed) or better....there will be many more as the season progresses and people reach their championship meets, but I guess this will give you an idea of some of the competition.

How tall/heavy are you? That may factor in heavily to how you make the adjustment to college hurdles (for the 110's).
I'd also suggest going to Kansas State's website and checking out what their athletes are currently running, to see where you might fit in. It seems like your most promising event is the 300h (400h in college), and luckily, the height doesn't change (which was good for me, since I'm 5'6" or so).
By the way, the high school highs are 39", and the college highs are 42".
