Larger or Smaller

Which do you prefer to throw in the shot put?
A larger diameter or a smaller one.
Discuss the advantages disadvantages.

i prefer smaller diameter brass/stainless shots, because i feel like i can grip them better, but i dont own one

i like larger shots because i spin and its easier to throw smaller ones rather than "shot" them

The smaller ones, preferably with dents for comfortable knuckle fitting (at the non-checked local meets) at probably what i throw best with...i have big troubles going from a small brass to a cannon-ball sized 16 for training

I like the big ones cuz they re bigger so they feel lighter and you can fix your hand to it easy
