Well i was going to do indoor this year but decided to play bball instead, our season should end in a week and a half, then i have a couple weeks before outdoor starts, what should i do to get ready for the track season and jumping?

Make sure you have a solid base to work from. Do a lot of core work, plyos, and yes, unfortunately, running. Don't worry about any event specific stuff yet. Also, don't forget to lift!

well the fact that you played basketball is good. that means you have been running(i hope) in practice and basketball gives you that good jumping base to work off of. i would suggest that since basketball is all quickness rather than speed, you get out and run a bit more than 10m in a row. you could start doing your basic jumping drills that you do during the season, but you don't have to. at this point, i would say you are probebly in ok shape from bball, but not quite track shape yet. don't worry about going and running into the ground because you think you are behind those who did indoor, playing a winter sport has kept you in the game. don't stress too much, and if you are feeling burnt out, i would say take a week off after bball and start the track season fresh. you might have one week less of training, but the rest will give you so much more.
