I need help finding meets for a high school pole vaulter in south eastern Wisconsin. We will drive north to Princeton, and west to Albany. Does anyone know of any meets where he can vault?
Thanks

What dates? HS Indoor meets will be running by the 14th of march.

We're looking at mostly outdoor, he just started vaulting (he is a junior, he vaulted freshmen year, but not last season) again, so he probably will need some good weeks of practice. Thank you

Here is the best site to find outdoor meets that he might be able to get into.

Also 3/12 there is a PV clinic at UW LaX. I know its farther than you wanted to travel, but it could be helpful for the athlete.

TFA's indoor meet is in Mad. on april 8th?, and I'm pretty sure Mad. west hosts an indoor too.

Hope this helps

southeastern WI? theres a ton of meets around the milwaukee area, and almost all of them will have Pole Vault. Is there more to this problem than just location?

There are a couple of contingent problems. The AD and I don't see eye to eye on level of competition. He wants us to compete against the same size schools, I want us to improve by competing against the best. We don't have a track, nor pole vault training facilities. We are not a public school, so any money raised for athletics is thrown into an "athletic pool" and not designated for specific sports, so any money raised by track and xc athletes goes to whatever sport needs it. We are a small school, and the finances between athletics and the school's other specific needs are kept separate. And lastly, but probably most importantly, the AD hadn't bothered to return any contracts to schools. So now it is March, and I am trying to find inexpensive meets that aren't filled so that a great kid, and a really good athlete can get into meets. So yea, I guess there are other problems.
