the world meet that Darius Savage and walter Henning went to can any body give me some info about it cause I looked around on the net and couldn't find anything can some one tell me some thing please. thanks alot

well first things first the next is in 2007 and you have to qualify in this years youth nationals and junior olympics. You submit a entry form and you will be selected by a committee. You must be born in 1990,1991,or 1992 to compete. thats all you really need to know

yeah I wish they held that meet every year my year (class of 2008) is gonna miss out on it...

The 2007 IAAF World Youth Championships are scheduled for July 11-15, 2007, in Ostrava, Czech REpublic.

Walter, do you know how many athletes per event they select? In my case, the discus, will there be one thrower, two, or three?

I also heard that each athlete has to pay their own expenses. Is this true?

It depends on how good the athletes are... in the throws they usually carry only 3 or 4 on each side usually one per event unless they can get a shot and disc out of one kid (Darius) No you do not have to pay your own way, your parents have to pay for themselves tho. Everything else is payed for by USATF

doesnt mean everyone from your class is going to miss out... just the kids born in 1989 in the class of 08 the kids born in 1990 will be fine
