Has anyone seen any results from him the year? Looking at his cross country season you would think he would have ran some fast times by now.

I heard he's in another country right now im not sure why, my dad heard that from a mahtomedi parent at the Fridley True team and they said Alex Riech would be back for cross country next year.

Phil = scared (of competition)

I agree it sounds like Phil is alittle scared of racing the real competition. Making it to state with none of the good competition in your qualfying race really isnt that cool

Why don't you ask Edina's cross country team how they feel about racing against the best competition at sections.

Or anyone else in 6AA.

phil are you going to the mile and 2 mile at sections? what about that 800? or dont you want to divulge that quite yet....

I'll divulge my opinion, which is as good as fact. I think Phil will shoot for the 1600 and 3200.

I base this on the fact that he was happy to see a 'top guy' in the 1600 and 3200 go. I think maybe I should run the mile.

Plummer, how'd your True Team go for yourself and your distance guys?

I think i would know firsthand what section 6AA cross is about, and it makes it alot more fun and competitive. Its not much of an accomplishment to win your section in the 2mile when none of the competition is racing. Sure you win and you get to run at state but then your gonna get your butt kicked by the real competition, so whats the good in that

no offense, but until you have run on that blue track up at blaine, i dont care what anyone says, going to state is an honor and the greatest experience ever, and personally, i wouldnt care how i got there. I never had to run fast for my section meets, and i didnt care, cause its one less stressful race to have to worry about and you dont have to taper as much for it. Dont think getting to state the easy way is the worst thing in the world, cause saying getting to state and getting your a** kicked, who cares, you still got to live the experience, so i dont blame Phil at all, and if you ask the people who got smoked at state, they will all agree

ok yes i agree to that it is a great expirence to run at the state meet, but all im getting at mostly is that phil said he was glad that two of the main compitition wasnt running, personally you should hope for the best compitition in every race you run cuz it only makes you better

I wouldn't say Tim Branigan, Collin Plummer, and Eric Anderson are easy competition.

Our True Team went well for all of us guys...

Three guys under 4:35.

A junior ran 9:51, Theo Hoerr : Mike McMahon 10:05, Kyle Thompson 10:07
we went 1, 2,4 in the 800
we went 1,2,5 in the 400 with one of our reserves running for the third spot.
