per capita, mississippi no doubt is one of the strongest states in the country for track.

A girl from Starkville got 3rd in the 200 there, too.

The other day I was at an Oxford track meet and watched Cortez Harris, a junior at Oxford HS, high jump 6-10...a height that would have won NSIC easily.
