yea, I have many times, and many more times just driving through, the most recent stop in La. was this past christmas break, I stayed a night with my aunt&uncle in Oppoluoses, Louisiana. We visited with them and my cousin and her husband and chiden. He ran for Oppolouses High back in the 90's, had a pr of 50.4 in the 400, he was pretty good. Very hard to run there though, sooo humid.

Opelousas isn't too far from here, a lot of black people go there now. It's north of Lafayette.

That would be the same for myself. I love this state; I've lived almost everywhere else and this is my favorite by far. The people are extremely receptive to everyone--even if it may be because they stay drunk.

Never visited it, but I visited the forum on occasion during the elections. Its the only regional forum I've entered besides New England, so I guess you could say I've visited in a way.

NO airport once. Not the most beautiful place in the world....

Baton Rouge- I went there once and it was amazing.

I read something recently, that said 1/3 of America's youth could not identify Louisiana on a map. 48% could not identify Mississippi.

Cool huh?
