Does anyone have a site or info on the basicsa of the hammer throw. I live in South Jersey but we are going to a meet in Long Island and my coach wants me to throw hammer there (it is illegal in NJ). Is it very different from discus? If I have a good spin for discus/shotput how hard will the transistion be?
Also is there anything we can use to simulate a hammer to practice?
Thanks.
