i just want to take this oppurtunity to say that i think that divisions are the most biased hypocritical crock of horse crap in the sport. apparently, kids who go to smaller schools are of a different breed than those who go to the big schools, and therefore can not run as fast, so are cut a break in qualifying standards. not to mention in cross country when d4 kids can run 35 seconds slower than you and still go to states...

Martwain Johnston, a junior from Syracuse, N.Y., won three events at the Founders' League Championship meet to lead T-P to a third place finish. Martwain won the high jump at 6'10", the long jump at 22'8.75" and the 110 HH in 14.65. All of these established new Founders' League Championship meet records! Johnston also anchored the Pride 4x100 relay team which finished 2nd. Congratulations to Martwain and the Pride track team on a great season!

I have some problems with different standards for divisions.
I can see why for team competition, the size of the school matters. But for individuals, what difference does it make what size school you are in?

Reny Colton is very impressive. She holds many of Exeter's school records, and most of the prep records in which she's entered. I hope Exeter gets another Jan Ng soon. She's incredible.
Edit: Be on the look out for Yuna Sakuma in NEPSTA. She's a soph and didn't do too badly.
