High school to college conversion?

I am thinking about going back to college to throw discus, I'm self taught. I've learned on the high school disc and I'm wondering how far I'd have to be able to throw the 1.6kg disc to be the equivalent of 120 feet with the 2kg. Is it an exact ratio? That'd be 150 feet.

it's not so much the weight of the discus as it's the change in size and ability to keep your handling on it

to me, there's a big difference, but if you're gifted with beastly hands it shouldn't be too much of a problem
