Farnsworth for the individual title ... but it should be a very tight 4 or 5-man race!

Teamwise ... I'll say Mountain View.

Dont count Boise out. We're gonna have some tough soph. and a new junior who will be in the mid 16's if his attitude is right. We're gonna have REALLY good depth also next year with the upcoming soph. and juniors. and also Nick Bolinder and myself. We'll have a strong team. But u never know what will happen! Hopefully Taylor is back in time for XC next year and Armon may even be back. Its gonna be a good year next year, but no where as close as this past XC year.

Mountain View will never win state.

Yeah, well, you can't deny that Mountain View is bringing a lot of runners back from this year's #4 team. And Boise loses 4 of 7, right? With only one JV runner looking like he will help much ... that's 4 runners.

Mountain View returns last year's #10, Goold; last year's #16, Pogue; last year's #20, soph. Gunn; last year's #30, Stark. Also have last year's #47 returning, although he was a bit back from the rest.

Borah and Boise should both still be tough, especially Borah, but I don't know... Mountain View looks to be strong next year.

If Mountain View can get a strong #5, then they will be very tough. If Nielson and Nordberg catches up with Flight, Borah is pretty much going to run away with the title. If Boise comes up with a strong #5 to complement it's strong front 3 and promising JV runner, they could win it, too, unless someone doesn't return - in which case, they will be hard pressed to keep up.

well for borah Flight got kicked outa school for doing drugs and steeling stuff. that tends to happen to borah. Nordberg was kicked off the team for a couple weeks durring the season too for stealing.

thats fine borah education. just ask kevin pabst

Well, I guess they won't be so good. Wonder if half of their varsity will be there by state? :)

hahah they will have a tough top two much like us (boise) but after that they wont have much.

we have a couple of goods guys comin up. two kids that will be sophomores will be running varsity and a really good freshman. we also have two or three kids that were on jv that will pull through for us.
I believe if we get kids out all summer like we did last summer we will be just as good if not better

if not better???????.......fu** u. i busted my as* for u guys and u think i can be replaced with a couple jv runners and freshmen. no wonder u (nick) almost failed out of school:mad:   :D

but on the real subject of this. mt view is dumb! they tried to fight us after we messed with them in the 1600 today. i guess it just hurts when u can't even win in a state as pussy as idaho

All this talk of good JV runners... where were they in the elite meets? (i.e. Firman JV race)

No one in the JV/freshman races from Boise looked decent at all. 18:4x was the best? 1:30 behind your #7 last year? Where were these good JV runners then? And none raced at Danner ... And they didn't run in any other big meet ... so, sorry if I don't believe that there are a few good guys coming up. As far as I know, Boise will have 3 good runners next year, and then nothing. And that shouldn't be able to win a championship, when other teams look to be 4 good runners deep. But I still have faith Boise will be able to find SOMEONE, so that's why I haven't counted them out already.

not just the fighting part, but trashing on yourself, your team, and your whole state too. but mostly the fighting part.

sounds like some controversy at the boise meet today!!! what were the winning times...and top 3 of the800 1600 and 3200?? i ran a 2:05 in the medley today and our team won! not stellar or anything...but it's better than if i were to have just done another pool workout today

sweet deal! well It was windy and john won the 800 in 158 I ran 201 again...

i know we're not gonna be as good as last year, the only way is if Kevin came to Boise and Austin actually tries. But our team last year was obviously the best team boise high will EVER see. We wont be as good this year as we were last year, the kids just dont want it the same as Royce,John,Eric, and Geoff wanted. So....im saying we still have a chance at state but we're NOT gonna be as good as last year.

Take a lesson from South Park.

Adopt a Starvin' Marvin.

Tell him he gets food after he finishes a run.
