ok so my coach was watching me throw and found out that i throw from my middle finger and not my index finger. its a habit for me not that he is trying to break. here is my question

how important is it to use both the index finger and the middle finger. my coach says it will get me throwing a lot farther, but i dont really believe him.

I use both, but I tend to use my middle finger a little more...when i build up a blister its always on my middle finger for some reason....I'm really not sure how to answer your question but I guess everyone holds it a little different.

yeah, my middle is like 1 inch longer, and i always break blood vessels on the middle (it's a b*tch with the 2k, but whatever)

i don't see a problem with it, i think the thumb has alot more bearing on your throw rather than your choice of middle or index finegr (or both in tabor's case)

probably kind of late in the game for this... but if you use your index finger supported by your middle finger, it gives more push-spin on the disc. maybe not as vital with a rubber disc, but necessary with a rim-weight. i also think that it helps control the disc on the release.

Just gonna let you know...this looks funny from the page with all the different boards listed. From there, the title reads, "using the middle finger and..."
