If this wouldn't jeopardize Syosset's chances against Shaker, I'd love to see Sean Tully and Justin Craddock battle over 800 meters at states.
I'd also like to see McManamon, White^2, BRD, Kimple, and Russell over 1600 and Martinez, Gubbins, Burdick, and Murdock and Tschirhart (if they're back and healthy) over 3200. I don't have any favorites picked--I'm just looking forward to spectacular races. Thank you.
Seriously, though, 1:53.2 and winning by four seconds is amazing.

1:51 indoors is even more impressive
but a 1:20 600 runner upstate (as fast as 45.xx runner elzie coleman) may be just as impressive. he IMO will drop to like a high 1:49 or so. i think he has lost like 2 races at any distance since beginning of winter

Finally...Craddock appears! Good to see him back, and running well. Matching that 1:51.35 indoors will be tough to do, but possible.

I'd look for Syosset fresh. Those guys are bread for the relays.

Martinez just cruised to a 5:56 2k steeple win totally solo at his county meet, breaking Justin Romaniuks record. So yeah, I would expect him to go for steeple. Also, if I remember correctly, it's very hard to pull of the mile/4x8 double at states, much easier to go steeple/4x8 instead.

i was at that meet where craddock ran and his first lap was intense he took it out in something like 52.8. he got to the 600 in 1:21-1:22 and then just had noone there. there was a diagonal wind and he just fought through it.

 Not to take anything away from Craddock but Dan Wallace-Periac from Nyack clocked an insane 1:53.72 for 1st at loucks. 2nd place 1:58.73... Thats a 1:53 virtually by himself. Hats off to that

Dan's 1:53 was a monster effort. I would know because I had a good view of his backside much of that race, he really put the hammer down with 300 to go.

Why has the Loucks competition become SO terrible? Just look at the results, utterly pathetic.

The answer is simple.. There is about 3000000000 (slight exageration) other meets that conflict w/ Loucks. So in fact Loucks simply isnt drawing an elite field due to this
