Throwing the discus at the greater southwest competition

hello everyone i have came back. I am going to be throwing the discus at the greater southwest competition.

i ended the season throwing a 155' throw and that throw won state.

is there anything that you guys could suggest doing before this competion.

I am from new mexico. well i hope to see all of you here. my main goal is to beat my school record of 158" so i need to throw 160. which i have done already.

anyways unm wants me to throw the hammer for them in college so i am going to try that. and i think this summer i am going to finally start lifting weights. lol

hopefully that will make my throws farther.

so what marks are you guys coming in with

naw man go the great southwest is like the funnest meet there is. They give you free stuff too.....and there's a party in the hotel after the meet haha. I guess I'll see you there benjimatt.

hey hopefully you will get a 175. but watch out for our altitude. we are pretty high up here.

man i have been struggling in disc lately. my stupid coaches made me sign up for the hammer throw for the meet. so i have 5 days to practice an event that i have never done before. so we will see what happens. but i am pretty sure that i will suck at it.

and that is making my throws look like crap. im so mad.

anyways. so when are you people coming out here.

i just found out that they invited some of the top throwers in the nation to this meet. i guess it didnt matter if you were actually in the southwest
