so today I walk into my high school weight room today and Olympian, and also Alum from my high school, Jarred Rome was in there lifting weights. It was really cool, cuz he wasn't just there like visiting and talking to coaches he was actually doing a workout. He was humongous. It's pretty cool because he comes back and visits at least a few times a year, but this is the first time at least that i've been in there working out that he was too.

when i was there he was doing power clean and he was doing 500 lbs, but i left before he was done so he probably did other workouts or more weight on power clean

I don't think that he was lifting anywhere near 500 pounds if he was doing power clean and incline. Are you making this up?

I agree.

If he's cleaning 500 lbs. that's near the world record.

Well lets see he had 5 blues on each side which are 20 kg's each so 10X20kg's is... 440lbs then the 45lbs bar so thats 485lbs so i guess it was a little less then 500 but he was reppin it on power clean and incline, maybe i'll take a picture next time for you guys :)

edit: oh by the way keller or so cold have you ever seen this guy?? he's a monster

Yes I've seen him. And yes, he is a monster. But he's not an Olympic weightlifter.

I've never seen him in person, but I have seen him on his website, which strangely enough also puts on his best lifts! Best in the clean is 430, WELL BELOW 500. Best bench is 550 so that makes 500 or even 485 highly unlikely for the incline, especially if he wasn't just doing heavy singles. So once again, I would say this all doesn't seem very feasible.
