I believe Arizona or Arizona State, has to be one of those two. But I could be wrong.

I think he and his coach have been very selective as far as his training and racing.
I think the have meets more important than NON. I would imagine they are prepping him for a race against National or International competition.

My guess is he would've led the first three laps way too fast and died like he always does when he races his peers.

Ige is a great talent. His coach is very smart. It can be overwhelming to a youngman when he is expected to race in elite meets every week. One can not be on top every time.
Mo has had his moments of tremendous success and failure. So has every other runner through the course of a season, a season like the one produced by AJ is the abnormal example.
Mo is great and the young man has a great future. He hasn't even touched his potential yet, Barnes kept his mileage down and an eye to the future.

i heard that he is going to a junior college in Arizona for 2 years to get his grades up
Mohamuds grades were fine, it was his test scores that hurt him. Mohamud has plenty of time to develope. He will still be eligible to make a USA Junior Team through the summer of 2008, all the way through his soph. yr.

Anyone who raced him his senior year knows he learned not to do that anymore.
Hey, let's be honest here. Mo's 800 race at state was not pretty and it was not ugly. It was pretty ugly! Though he still set the all time Colorado HS Boy's mile record. He was also a two time Footlocker finalist and is one of only four HS boy's who have broken 15:00 on the Mid-West XC course, ever!

First off, Mo is the man. Second, where are you coaching now? Where ever you are coaching let me know, I want to invite you to bring your team to the Rocky Mountain Region XC Championships.

What was his pretty ugly 800 time?
like 2.02, he came back the next morning and ran a 1.53 leg in the 4*8 then an hour later ran a 4.21 1600 which kinda made up for that

I don't know what happened, but his 800 didn't look like he just went out too fast and died. He looked really relaxed after the first lap, and seemed to want to push the pace more. I'm guessing something went wrong.
But of course I'm just speculating

He is running at Pima Community College over here in AZ, I just saw him race recently, nothing impressive, maybe top 10 against just Arizona Junior Colleges.

I wonder why he decided on a community college.

Generally the CC is chosen for one of two reasons (or both), monetary issues or grade/SAT issues. If his grades/SAT scores arent very good, schools will be leary about scholarship money, assuming with low grades/SATs he can even get into the school. As for monetary, if he is getting partial offers from big schools and big offers from little schools, sometimes its a good idea to save money by going to a CC for two years, proving yourself worth the scholarship risk, and them moving on.
