Jersey Results At Penn Invite

Lots of former NJ runners ran this weekend at Franklin Field.

800: The 800 went out slow in about 56.
1 Wyner, James Cornell 1:51.63
15 Guzman, John Upenn 1:55.81

1500: I believe Carmody goes out in 2:00 for 800.
9 Kerrigan, Michael Villanova 3:52.58
13 Carmody, Mike Dartmouth 3:54.01
20 Pelerin, Mark Villanova 3:56.16

5K: Some guys died hard off of a fast 4:40 mile pace, while others went more conservative and picked people off at the end.
6 Bonnette, Breton Upenn 15:09.92
13 Geisinger, Erik Rowan 15:34.80

Calvo runs 51.67 in 400, 15.72 in 110H, pole vaults 12-11.50, and throws 88-09 in the disc.

Anyone else at the meet and who did I leave out?

Mike LaQuaglia formerly of Delbarton ran 15:01 in that race, as i posted on other thread.

looks like Carmody slightly overestimated his fitness :)

That's a rough road in from there at 2:11 or so 800 pace..

Well the first 2 heats had rabbits and in Carmody's heat the rabbit went out in 1:57 and he was in 3rd. So not totally his fault, but you could see it take its toll 500 to go.

a ton of NJ guys in that one too, results are on scullions so I assume a lot of people looked. Brian Donovan from East Brunswick ran the 10k in 30:27 (out in 15:23 came back in 15:05)
