Does anyone know when competition can start for the SS for CC?

Unless you switch your dead period, then you can start in July.

The first day of OFFICIAL SEASON practice is August 22 !
What you do for SUMMER practice is something entirely different.

We have that if you take your dead period at the beginning of the summer, your first practice day can be July 11th (early dismissal schools) or July 18th (late dismissal schools).
But make sure you send a letter to CIF declaring you are taking the early dead period. If you do not send a letter it is assumed you are taking the August dead period.
