Everyday I run by fort Snelling in Minneapolis/St Paul. Today as I made my way there there were two people with 2 banners hung across the overpass there. One read 'tear down the fort' and the other read 'Fort Snelling, scene of Dakota homicide'.
Isn't history there for us to learn from our mistakes, not bury them?
I wanted to sit down next to them with a banner that read: 'ban the democrats- THEY WERE PRO SLAVERY!!!' It seemed that their banner was just as preposterous an accusation......(obviously mine would be sarcastic...just so I don't get myself in trouble...:) )
