go to loucks-if you race on friday in a relay or whatnot you get a free chicken dinner, which is always the main thing to be looking for in a meet :p . also if you win your event you get a huuuuuuuuuuuge trophy http://www.dyestat.com/3us/4out/loucks/donna3/lashwnmerrit.jpg

Looking through the last few years I'd say that Hartford will probably have the faster 800 race and will have similar depth to that of Loucks. Of course Loucks was much better in 02, but with the attention Hartford received last year, I think this is shaping up to be a fast meet.

Loucks 1:55.98, 1 sub 1:56

Loucks 1:54.44, 3 sub 1:56
2002

Hartford 1:57.59, 0 sub 1:56

Hartford will be the better meet, IMO. The 800 is usually quite fast there. After a mixed winter, one in which he was WAY undertrained, Soph Lionel Williams will be in the Hartford 800, looking to run fast. His training was totally revamped as of April 1st, and his prospects are improving. A workout the other day included a 2m warmup, 3 x 600 in 1:25, and a cooldown.
Hartford is a week later than usual (5/14), and should produce some great performances.
