Midlothian VA, Thomas Jefferson VA, Smiths Station AL, Trinity KY, and Hoover AL are going to appear to be the frontrunners early. Things may get a little shake up after Great American and McDonalds.

I only included Smiths because they just beat parkview.

Aren't they 5A (ie 4000 students) or something? I might be wrong, but that would definitely be an advantage.

I had Parkview at #10. and Smith's Station unranked.

Personally, I dont' consider either as potential NTN teams.

But I'm not the committee. I included them because that puts them a leg up on Parkview, and was the first top-notch victory of the season in the Southeast. No other good team has really run against anyone yet.

Yes Parkview is 5A, but in Georgia, that is like 1800+, maybe even 1600+. When I student taught at Parkview, they had between 2000 and 2500, nothing huge.

I teach at a school that has nearly 3000 and we don't have nearly what p'view has.

there is 7 schools in Washington with 2000+ students. Only one over 2500.

That's pretty big...
