I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Rogers boys will finish in the top five. I was going to say top three but I'm going to go with top five.

This should be a very interesting meet. I'm going to go ahead and say that Colby Lowe will be the individual champion.
So far he's undefeated this whole season, winning EVERY meet by over 10+ Seconds.
A&M Consolidated, Woodlands, Southlake Carroll... The big 3 Teams in Texas, all three packed with the three top runners in the state. Should be fun!
Coaches and athletes,
As of 10/02/06 registration is closed.
See many of you Friday and Saturday.

no Tupelo? That's a shame ... every good team in the South EXCEPT Tupelo is there... would do wonders to the rankings if they had been. Oh well, their loss, they'll have to make up for it at Chille Pepper.
EDIT: I don't see Georgetown there, either...
oh, and ps.
Georgetown is about 20 seconds/man faster than Tupelo. (flrunners vs. GAXC, based on performance of Lyman (FL?)'s Salteman, who ran at both)

i wouldn't go by GAXC times.... i ran 16:46 there and ran 15:52 this weekend....everyone else on my team also ran quite a bit faster than they did there. We averaged 17:33 at GAXC and this weekend averaged 16:29

I believe Tupelo is at Memphis Twilight. good teams there, esp. Tupelo, Houston, and Trinity.

GAXC was also a slow course... almost 20 seconds slower than any other major invitional thus far.
Most major invitationals have run about 50 seconds faster than GAXC. You ran 54 seconds faster.. so that sounds about right.
duh...runna?

Kevin schwab will suprise some people!
no kidding. I doubt there are many people out there who realize the significance of his OSU Jamboree win and course record.
15:35 course record on a really hot day
He beat the record formerly held by Mark Thompson (4:07 hs mile, 7th at footlocker nats behind Jon Riley, Gabe Jennings, and others)
He won by nearly fifty seconds.

4th place.... aren't I sure surprised!
Some of you forget the top two there finished top 10 at FLSouth Regionals the previous year... so no, I'm not surprised.
As for teams, pretty much knew Woodlands, Southlake Carroll, and A&M Consolidated would be in the top 3.

Well, Rogers didn't perform as well as I thought they would. Those other teams deserve their props. Now I'm anxious for the Pepper this weekend...and I will be there.
